Conservation Work at Bincombe and Kingston Maurward

On 23rd February a group of our members spent the morning carrying out conservation work on two of our sites, one at Bincombe, near Upwey north of Weymouth and secondly at a chalk pit at Kingston Maurward near Dorchester.

more or less finished and new sign in place

Despite the chilly February weather we set to and enjoyed some sunshine too. Both sites were somewhat overgrown but are now in good condition to demonstrate the geological interest.
