Geology: Jurassic, Corallian, Todber Freestone, Sturminster Pisolite. Top two beds of Todber Freestone, at base level bedded massive argillaceous oomicrite, and above massive flaggy weathering oosparite showing strong cross bedding. At western end by garden an oolitic clay with echinoids, bivalves, gastropods (no excavation please!)
